It sold over two million copies in book form and now “The Girl on the Train” is gearing up to hit theaters all over the world.
This week, Universal Pictures and DreamWorks Pictures is serving up a promotional poster as well as a teaser trailer featuring Emily Blunt, Rebecca Ferguson, Haley Bennett, Justin Theroux, Luke Evans, Lisa Kudrow and Laura Prepon, ahead of the October 7th release date.
Per the synopsis, “In the thriller, Rachel, who is devastated by her recent divorce, spends her daily commute fantasizing about the seemingly perfect couple who live in a house that her train passes every day, until one morning she sees something shocking happen there and becomes entangled in the mystery that unfolds.”
